What Are eStatements?

Electronic Statements are the most convenient and most environmentally friendly way to receive your monthly bank statements.  You no longer have to wait for the mail to reconcile your SuffokFirst accounts.  You don't have to keep stacks and stacks of statements at home and try to keep up with filing them anymore.  With Internet access and a few simple clicks you have control of when and where you receive your account statements.



Who is Eligible for eStatements?

All personal and business accounts are eligible for eStatement Service.

How to Access eStatements

At the beginning of the month, you will receive an e-mail to let you know that your eStatement is available. You may access your eStatements when you log in to Online Banking. Then, choose "Retrieve eStatements" on the Account Services screen. Next, you will be taken to a screen that allows you to choose which account statement to view.
 
eStatements are generally available within 48 hours of the first day of the month. Using eStatements allows you to view your statement earlier than if you received a paper statement.



eStatement Archiving

As your statement archive builds, you will be able to access statements up to 13 months. You can always contact the bank to order a copy of a statement that is not available as an eStatement (fees may apply).

Saving and Printing eStatements

Your eStatement is presented in the Adobe Acrobat format. You have the opportunity to view, zoom in, zoom out, search, save, or print any your eStatements. 
 


Viewing Multiple Account Statements

You can access any account statement that you are authorized to view, all from the same screen. To enable this ability, download this form, print it out, and return it to the bank.
 


System Requirements

eStatements are available for all individual SuffolkFirst Bank account holders. If you are already enrolled in Online Banking, enroll for eStatements by logging in to Online Banking and choosing, "Sign up for eStatements" from the top of the Account Summary screen. If you are not already enrolled in Online Banking, click on the Personal Online Banking log in button. Then click on "sign up".
 
eStatements supports Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher. You will need the Adobe Acrobat plug-in to view your eStatements.

Switching Statement Delivery Method

If you ever decide to switch from electronic statements back to paper statements, just log in to your account using the Secure Online Banking log in box in the left menu of the SuffolkFirst site. If you're enrolled in Online Banking, after logging in, select "Account Services" from the Account Summary screen then choose "Change Statement Delivery Method" and make sure "Paper Statement" is selected. Select "Yes" to change the delivery method.

Sign Up for eStatements

Join other customers who have already made the decision to save time, space, money and trees with eStatements. Enroll quickly and easily online today when you log in to SuffolkFirst Online Banking and choose "eStatements" from the left menu. Not yet enrolled in Online Banking? Enroll now!
 
You will be able to view your statements online by the next business day after you enroll for eStatements. If you enroll for electronic statements on the last business day of a month, you can expect to receive a paper statement for that month.
